IN MARCH OF 1976 Pastor Brenda acknowledged her call to the ministry and                                                                      Bishop McZeke’s call came some three years later in November of 1979.  Soon after                                                              Bishop McZeke acknowledged the “call” of God, the Lord gave him a new name for                                                              their home Bible study group that he was leading on a regular basis at this point.

IN DECEMBER 1982, Bishop McZeke's calling to the pastoral ministry began at                                                                    what was Mt. Beulah United Holy Church.  The Mt. Beulah building was our place                                                                of worship for eight years.  On September 16, 1990, God blessed the congregation                                                                  by moving us into our current facility, which was named “Monument of Faith                                                                        Evangelistic Church” by our pastors.

A FEW YEARS LATER, in 1995, the church was incorporated under the name                                                                        Monument of Faith Christian Ministries Incorporated.

FROM THE INCEPTION of the ministry it has been, and still is, our prayer that this ministry will serve as a monument in the hearts of God’s people far and near.  Our scripture motto is and has been from the beginning:

"But without faith it is impossible to please him:

for he that cometh to God must believe that is, and that he is

a rewarded of them that diligently seek him."

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

THIS SCRIPTURE HAS BEEN instrumental in Bishop McZeke and Pastor Brenda’s walk with God.  It has been so instrumental in their lives that it is their desire to share the fullness of this scripture with others and to teach people how to let the living word of God revolutionize their lives.

IN THIS SEASON, as always, MOFCM is determined to maintain the course of faith.  Hebrews 11:6 states, “It is impossible to please God without faith…”, which is an integral part of who we are, what we believe, and is the basis of MOFCM.

WE ARE DETERMINED to see people’s lives changed by God, through their faith.  We are dedicated to teaching people about faith, living a balanced Christian life, and modeling and teaching others how to live in God’s highest and best.

WE DESIRE TO DISCIPLE others and to be a reproducing church in our community and the lives of those around us.  Our relaunch is allowing us to make some necessary changes and will things easier for those who are coming up behind us to pursue and do the will of God.

GOD KNOWS US and had a relationship with us before we were ever formed in our mother’s womb and we believe it is our responsibility to cultivate what God has already sown into every human being.  In order to do this, we want to bring the children and youth into church, give them a fun and relevant environment to be introduced to Christ, and then teach them the things of God so they can learn and grow in their relationship with Him.

IN ADDITION TO ministering to children and youth, we are dedicated to ministering to each and every person that God sends us.  It is our desire to minister to the whole man (spirit, soul, body) helping to create a balanced life and experience everything God promised.
